Belvedere is urging me to comment on the egregious remarks made by JD Vance. Donald Trurmp’s running mate, apparently of his own free will. He once called Trump morally reprehensible. What can have changed his mind?  Isn’t it going well, as Vance possesses the quality, Terry Pratchett defined it as charisn’tma. 

For news-refusers, Vance has opened his mouth and neatly inserted one or both of his feet. Out loud and in public he stated that VP Kamala Harris, and indeed every Democrat, and everybody who runs the US mega corporations are ‘childless catladies’ (This is his best shot, you understand).

Like that's an insult. 

Has he not heard of Taylor Swift? 

I was not going to pay  him the compliment of rational opposition, JDs waspish tiny minded rants are beneath contempt, but Belvedere insisted and persuades me that we should speak up for catkins and the humans who serve them, just for the record. 

So aside from the fact that catlady is no longer the devastating abusive callout JD  thinks it is,  I point out that there are just as many proud catgents in the US. And one of the most famous was Abraham Lincoln. You know, POTUS 16, carved into Mt Rushmore etc. Him.  Lincoln took his two cats, Tabby and Dixie, to cabinet meetings because, as he pointed out, they made more sense than his ministers, (See earlier post).    

And think on. Another definition of catlady is lioness. Apex predator, highly organised, smart, strong and works for the good of the pride. 

Who wouldn’t like  to be run by Lionesses?
