Cats of the Zodiac 2 - Taurus

Thursday, 2 May 2024 16:47

It’s Taurus Time.

Actually it was 10 days ago, but things slid.

Our astrologer Stella Hyde was very generous about it because, as she points out, after the zoomie-packed firestorm of frenetic Aries we are all a bit tired, so dozing through the first decanate of down-to-Earth Taurus is acceptable (decanate is an Astro term meaning ten days, impressive eh?)

Life with a sweet, affectionate and often beautiful Taurus cat is calme, luxe et volupté as Charles Baudelaire, a big cat fan, might say. Taurus cats are the ones you want if you like to take things nice and easy. They mostly drift between docile and comatose, especially after second breakfast and while basking in their sunshine spot. They make the best lap cats, as they don’t really like moving, but you may lose the feeling in your legs as they tend towards the chonky (cat lovers’ term meaning built for comfort), and they purr a lot.

All will be sweetness and light UNLESS you disrupt their routine in any way. Or even if you disrupt yours. Here’s the tariff:

* Ten seconds late for feeding time and you get the stare.

* Change the catfood brand, you are dead to them.

* Move their cushion, they will sit on your face.

Sugar Tigers, every one.
