That was Ziggy Stardust, one of the many avatars of David Bowie, himself one of the coolest of cats. It was his birthday on January 8th, and he died January 10th 2016, so Belvedere and I would like to celebrate his whole glorious existence with you. Not only a genius performer and songwriter, but also a serious cat fan. And boy could he play guitar.
