Excellent take on 'Duetto buffo di due gatti', aka The Cat Duet, sung by Chichi Enu and Adrienne Ivey. Ten years old, but timeless. Belvedere and I do a killer karaoke version.
It was long thought that the duet was written by opera titan Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868), but it is now believed that it was compiled in 1825 by English amateur composer Robert Lucas Pearsall, using bits from Rossini’s opera Otello (1816) and other scraps from the cutting room floor.
